My wedding date is set for December 18 2009. When should i mail my invitations and when should i ask for people to R.S.V.P by?

Send them out 6-8 weeks before. As far as RSVP…when do you have to have the numbers to your vendors? I’d go at least a week or two before that because many people never will send back the RSVP and you’ll be finding yourself making a lot of phone calls.
