Help me! what do i do if i have to groom a shih tzu but he’s not trained to be groomed. He is now about 4 years old and i really have to clean all the face area(since it’s so difficult with all the tear stains and stuff.

Any healthy dog at any age can still be trained. You have to take charge, and be like a stern parent if your dog gives you trouble when you try to groom him. For training purposes, you can’t be too friendly to your dog. You must be in charge, but not mean. Shih tzu’s are small, and should be easily controlled, if you have the right attitude. After you finish grooming, reward your dog with a treat.
