I am having a Family & close friends wedding ceremony and then for the reception everyone else is going to be invited, how would I choose the wording on the invitation for the wedding ceremony and then the reception?

When you go to the print shop to have them made, they will have samples you can choose from with the proper wording. You don’t just make the words up yourself.

my daughters fiance’s parents are divorced and are both remarried. They are wondering when to seat the father of the bride and his new wife. Also when should the stepfather of the groom be seated. Both MOB and MOG will be escorted by grooms brother.

Would the cops handcuff a bride during her wedding? Or would they wait till at least the service is over?
would the bride be handcuffed to a female officer so they wouldn’t take a chance of ruining her wedding dress?

That would depend on what she was being arrested under suspicion of, I imagine, as well as the attitude of the police officer making the arrest, whether or not it seems likely that she’s going to try to escape or resist arrest, and so on.

This is the strangest thing. I have just received a third invitation for the same wedding. Each invitation was a different style (all very formal and ornate) but with all the same information. I have sent my rsvp already from the first invitation, so I don’t know what I’m supposed to do. But I’m more interested in knowing if anyone has heard of this or has any idea why someone would send so many invites. It’s a very big and outrageous wedding which will be featured on the show “Platinum Weddings”. Any ideas?

It sounds like a mistake….you should let them know incase they have sent you three and some people none!

I’m designing my own wedding invitations and am wondering what all goes in the envelope? I have (obviously) the invitation, the RSVP card, and a card with directions to the church. Also, why do people use two envelopes? What’s the point?

The 2nd envelope is so that your guests can send back the RSVP’s – they are to be pre-addressed and pre-stamped

I have an ivory wedding dress, but do not like the ivory shirts that go w/the tux for the Groom or GM. Thinking of going all black. Tux, shirt, and vest. Any thoughts?

It’s not traditional, but it’s your wedding so there are no rules, you can do whatever you want.

I’m currently working on a project for school and I need to make a wedding invitation but it has to be based on the 14th century when Romeo and Juliet took place. If you have any ideas on how the invitations looked back then or you know of some websites that have examples can you let me know? I’d greatly appreciate it

I doubt that they did wedding invites. Everyone within your class/station and nieghbors were invited, family normally lived within the same town so It was not hard to get people to the location. Sorry if I was not of any help

We have 6 groomsmen (they will be in tuxes half with pink vests and ties, and half with champagne vests and ties). I want our 2 ushers and the dads to coordinate, but not match exactly.

Have them in black vests. That’s what I’m doing and it’s most traditional.
